The Wellington Pickleball Club is the biggest Pickleball Club in the Wellington Region. We run 3 sessions per week, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays at Ākau Tangi Sports centre.
There are other council-run sessions in Wellington as well, so you can get Pickleball in Wellington seven days per week!
When and where does the club hold Pickleball sessions?
⚠️ You must pre-book at: wpc.helloclub.com. We don't allow walk-ins.
We play at the Ākau Tangi Sports Centre in Kilbirnie, Wellington.
Wednesday:
6pm to 8pm. Club members only.
Friday:
6pm to 8pm. Open to all.
Saturday:
6pm to 8pm. Open to all.
Wednesdays are booked out for weeks! How can I play?
Wednesday (in particular) is crazy booked out. We do normally see a lot of last-day cancellations so just keep refreshing the web page. HelloClub doesn't have a waitlist facility unfortunately.
I'm a complete beginner. What should I do?
For our club sessions, Friday and Saturday are best for beginners. Join our HelloClub site and register for a session. Let the person running the session know you're a beginner and they'll look after you 🙂
Otherwise, the council run recreation centres sessions are great for getting the basics of the game. Just turn up and pay.
